Envision the legacy you want to leave - Write your eulogy
I once got an interesting assignment from one of my coaches: He asked me to write my eulogy.
The idea is to think about the legacy you want to leave, and then ask yourself if you’re living your life in a way that will lead to that. If you’re not, then you’ve got some major changes to make.
I’m not going to sugarcoat it: This is a really, really hard exercise. When I first tried to write my eulogy, I stared at a blank page for days. I got frustrated. I cried. But it was worth it in the end because it led me to think deeply about the life I want to live.
I found the exercise so powerful that I wanted to share it with you. In this guide, you’ll find insightful questions that will get you thinking and prompts to help you start writing your eulogy. I hope you find this exercise as meaningful as I did!
